Coleman was from Lancashire and born in the town of Blackpool. She attended Arnold School in Blackpool. In her time as headgirl, she scored straight A grades in her A Levels. When discussing her character from Emmerdale she expressed her regret at not attending a university. Coleman, while still in High School, was part of the theatre company In Yer Space. She won as the Best Newcomer of 2007 at British Soap Awards and Most Popular Newcomer at the National Television Awards. In 2009, she was awarded nominations for two categories which included Best Actress-Sexiest Women and Best Performance Dramatic. Coleman received a nomination for Best Actress from the TV Choice Awards. Steven Moffat of Doctor Who revealed in a news conference held on the 21st march 2012, that Coleman was to take over the role of Karen Gillan after she and Arthur Darvill had left. Moffat selected her for the role as she performed most effectively with Smith and also spoke faster than him. Eva Larue..............................Eva LaRue is an American actor and model. She has been active in the industry since 1987, and was a part of various TV shows and films. She was more popular on the television. Eva has appeared in a number of television parts, however the roles of Dr. Maria Santos from All My Children' and Detective Natalia Boavistas from CSI Miami have stood out. In the latter, she even received two 'Daytime Emmy' nominations and gave her a chance to experiment with her talents in music. In addition to being an actor, Eva is also a philanthropist as well as an entrepreneurial. She has been married thrice and also has a daughter with her first husband.
