Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise has been a performer, writer, and actress in America for over forty years. Her most well-known role is because of her portrayal as Ginger Grant (in the 60s television show Gilligan's Island). Bettle's musical Two's Company was her first stage performance in the 1950s. She then acted in numerous Broadway productions before she became an international star alongside Li'l Abner in. She released her album It's too late for Tina in the same year. Louise first made it to Hollywood as Griselda Walden on God's Little Acre, a drama from 1957. The film was a big hit and Louise was awarded the Golden Globe Award at the New Star of the Award category. In this time, she studied at the Actors Studio of New York. Lee Strasberg was her instructor. The next role she starred in was through in 1964 when she signed with CBS to play Ginger Grant in 1964. Louise Balfour was able to juggle between Broadway and Hollywood playing a somber, sombre character contrast to her image of a glamorous doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. She has also appeared in SG-1 and Helen Magnus, but in the last few years she's earned a reputation as a director on several popular TV shows like Supernatural. Born on the 28th of August, 1965 in Essex. As a young girl, three, her family relocated her to Toronto which is where she spent the majority of her childhood. Samantha Carter was chosen in 1997 to play the role and she has settled down there ever since.
