Ina-Garten
Ina Garden is an American cookbook writer who has been awarded Emmy Awards. She hosts the most popular Food Network program, Barefoot Contessa. The series began in 2002. The show will run for another 27 seasons. Ina started writing policies and nuclear energy papers in the White House. Although she initially found it intellectually stimulating she eventually lost interest. So she purchased a Barefoot Contessa a small speciality food store. After selling the store, she spent more than 18 years building it to a highly successful store. Many different cookbooks and magazines came later. Between them the Food Network show was also successful. Ina sells a variety of items, from the ingredients needed for cooking, to kitchenware and storage. Ina never went to a cookery school nor worked in a restaurant. She is entirely self-taught. Ina is well-known for her easy method of cooking, and her effortless approach to entertainment. Her most popular recipes include the lemon chicken that she grills in a skillet, Beatty's Chocolate Cake Mac & Cheese Beef Bouguignon and the Balsamic Roasted Brussels Sprouts & Lemon Bars.
