Ali MacGraw

Elizabeth Alice MacGraw better known as Ali MacGraw is an award-winning American model actor author designer and activist for animal rights. Her movies include Love Story (1970), Goodbye Columbus ( 1969) as well as The Getaway ( 1972). When she was in New York, she was born and brought up in an creative family. Her first job was as a photo assistant. After that, she switched to acting and modeling. Her two first films were noticed and she received recognition with the Golden Globe Award of Most Promising newcomer. MacGraw was a household name after the 1970 hit film Love Story. She was considered for nomination to one of the Academy Award and won a Golden Globe. Within just three short films MacGraw became the most popular female box office actress across the globe. Her handprints, autograph and footprints were immortalized in 1972 by Grauman's Chinese Theater. The other films she has appeared on include The Getaway Convoy Players, the miniseries on TV The Winds of War and other. Moving Pictures, a 1991 autobiography, of hers came out. MacGraw's been married three different occasions.
